In the spirit of the common May Day tradition of doorbell ditching your friend's and neighbor's houses and leaving them a basket of flowers, I managed to muster up the time to create this silly May Day basket out of an empty ribbon spool, paint and paper. Visit the EtsyPaper blog to see more empty ribbon spool creations all made for the "April Earth Day Challenge." Welcome to the month of May!

Eggtastic - Friday Fun Finds
"eggplant"
J Schatz Egg Planters in 4 of the 8 available colors:
bright white, orange peel, light aqua and red hot
Gives a whole new meaning to the word "eggplant"!
"eggonomical"
Have you seen those cute egg cartons of egg shaped sidewalk chalk?
They are made in France and they have the sweetest little graphic of a chicken on the carton and are sold at the "look in-walk in-walk-out" boutiques and high end shops. Call me practical but $18.99 for 6 chalk eggs is a little ridiculous even if the adorable packaging may likely kill your Saturday morning hangover.
So get "eggonomical" with Skip to my Lou's fun and practical Egg Shaped Sidewalk Chalk tutorial. A great Easter weekend craft project and cool handmade gifts for all your nice neighbors. Don't forget to check out her other Easter ideas! Thank you Skip to my Lou!
And just think, the money you saved by making your own chalk you can use to save up for a beautiful J. Schatz Egg Planter! Double eggtastic!
