And twenty five blog posts later! My advent countdown was a personal best for me! The holidays have come and gone and I never had a chance to give a shout out to all the talented handmade crafters who I purchased my holiday gifts from. So I will blog about all this crafty goodness next.  Thank you to all (probably like 3 of you including my mom) who followed my Advent BINGOvent blogathon countdown!

The Holmesburg Postal Store, 8232 Frankford Ave. Suite A, Philadelphia, PA, 19136 has been temporarily closed due to an accident involving an out-of-control vehicle that crashed into the facility’s lobby. 

Indiana

The Arcola Post Office, 11400 Arcola Road, State B-1, Arcola, IN 46704, has been closed as a result of a fire in an adjoining apartment.

West Virginia

The Bob White, WV Post Office, Pond Fork Road, STE B, Bob White, WV, 25028 was destroyed when a grocery store attached to the facility caught fire. All the mail was recovered.

Today is Wednesday! Happy Wednesday!

Kitty Snuggie

My cat wonders why there is a Snuggie for dogs and not for cats? Hey, kitties get cold too! If the heater is on you can bet you will find my cat lounging on top of the heater vent.  And it is not uncommon to find her balancing on top of my computer monitor.  Perhaps I should be letting Santa know my cat would like a kitty bed with radiating heat. Just wondering if the Sleepypod Pet Bed is a little much? Happy Dec.15th!

Guess it is time to start trimming the tree! Opting for a recycled wreath instead (visit Scoutie Girl for a neato recycled magazine wreath project). I am going to make mine from my oven's burnt our heating element which is being replaced on Tuesday just in time to start burning my baked goods!

Ding-A-Ling Day

Happy Hanukkah

Day 3 of Hanukkah.  My BINGOvent Advent Calendar shows a Menorah with three candles burning beautiful and bright. Although I do not observe the celebration of Hanukkah, I could easily go for some fried doughnuts and potato latkes right about now! Happy days of Hanukkah to all!

Polar Bears in California?

 

Today was cold so cold you would have thought polar bears lived in Northern California! Today we awoke to a magical blanket of snow! First time in over 30 years the East Bay has seen snow like this. I received this photo from a friend.
